Many hotels describe themselves as eco-friendly, but on closer inspection their policies run to little more than using bio-degradable detergents or changing the bed-linen less frequently. There are many great eco-hotels, lodges, hostels and camps around the world, but sometimes it is difficult to find information and to locate them.
The aim of ecobookers is to provide a centralized source of information on eco-friendly accommodation, with detailed information on the eco-policies each accommodation employs. In this way you are able to decide for yourself if the policies meet with your own expectations. From budget eco-hostels to luxury tented eco-camps, eco-lodges to boutique eco-hotels, ecobookers makes it easy to find ecologically-run accommodation, review their policies and book or request online.*
ecobookers is not a travel agent or tour operator, we are an online information source and booking agent for eco-friendly acommodation. When you book through ecobookers you do not pay us any fee, instead, the eco-hotel or eco-lodge pays ecobookers a commission. You can be sure that the price you pay is the same price, or sometimes cheaper, than if you booked direct.
By using ecobookers you benefit from being able to find and compare lots of different eco-accommodations and their policies all on the same website, and from being able to book them easily and securely online. You can also benefit from a range of special offers which ecobookers have negotiated with their eco-friendly partners.
